SAT TV Depot is happy to announce that we are offering a $500 scholarship in our 1st Annual Social Television Scholarship Contest to help promote social media interaction with television viewing.
At this time our scholarship is open only to college-bound HS seniors and students enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate level degree program at a college or university located in the United States. You can apply for the SAT TV Depot Social TV Scholarship if you meet the following criteria:
Television has changed a lot over the last 20 years. Shows no longer are appointment viewing and with the inventions of DVR and On-Demand options has made watching television shows easier. Along with that, more people are consuming television programming with and talking about it, sometimes in real time, on various social media platforms.
Publish a blog post of no fewer than 500 and no more than 1,000 words in length on any blog or website by the application deadline date (see below). Special consideration will be given to candidates who include photos, tweets and other media in their post! In the body of your essay, include a link back to the official SAT TV Depot website (www.sattvdepot.com). Look here for more information on how to create a hyperlink. To be eligible to win the $500 SAT TV Depot Social TV Scholarship, you must submit your application to firstname.lastname@example.org using your official school email address* before the deadline of 11:59PM on May 1st, 2016. Please include your name and “Social TV Scholarship Application” in the email subject line and include the following information in the content of your email:
The SAT TV Depot Social TV Scholarship winner will be awarded a one-time $500 scholarship to be made payable (via US mail) to the accredited university as designated by the applicant after the application deadline (May 1, 2016). The scholarship award must be applied to school expenses (including but not limited to tuition, books, fees and on-campus housing fees) during the 2016-2017 school year.
